Social media and photo editing are giving teens unrealistic beauty expectations for themselves, causing them to turn to plastic surgery. Here’s why that needs to change.

I see them in checkout lines (including the pharmacy), while they're actually pumping gas - and the other night when it was dark and raining, a woman was talking on her cell phone and stepped right in front of me when I was driving and she was walking her small dog.

people continuing to talk while being serviced at a grocery store, for example.....not cool

I truly am glad I was able to live a good portion of life without a cell phone, and to this day I have never taken a "selfie" - not ever.

I don't get it since I rarely actually make phone calls, I get short text messages and use it for directions.

She was supposedly walking her dog, but wasn't paying the least attention either to the poor pup - or to traffic when crossed the street right in front of me.

On livestream late last week and it seems that Trevor's grandmother, "Gogo", has passed as they were showing clips from visits with her and conversations about her with a slate showing her birth/death years in between.

I suspect there will be reruns while he travels to SA to attend her ceremonies.

She was really cool.
