(5,144 posts)And, let me tell you, considering how these folks turn on their A/C once the temps go above 70F, they are in for one massive surprise. I have tried to discuss holding off on running the A/C until it gets above like 82-85F with the homeowner here in the past, and he whines about being hot. Well, wait until the grid fails because these snowbirds cannot handle anything above 70F and they will be passing out in the streets. But they won't consider this until it happens, which is normal for most people in this country.
