Democratic Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke interrupted Gov. Greg Abbott’s news conference on the Texas elementary school shooting, saying that he was “doing nothing” to stop gun violence. O’Rourke was removed by security as Abbott and other authorities shouted in response at him. Aired on 05/25/2022.

If he hadn't eradicated all the rules and regulations regarding the responsibilities of gun ownership in the state, yesterday's shooter would not have been able to buy guns as soon as he turned 18. And they turned on Beto??!

Expect a lot of responses after you post his appearance on the Stephen Colbert show tomorrow night.

This engagement by Beto even prompted my sister in Georgia to send me a text message saying that he was her hero.

And you can bet Colbert won't try to shut him up, he'll be behind him all the way!

And I tried bringing this up with my brother today since he did go to school on Texas - but he told me not to get upset about such things. *sigh* And I was already annoyed as hell since the jackass behind me in the grocery checkout was wearing a shirt that said "Let's Go Brandon!"
