Maintenance, janitors, IT, and other staff members have keys - usually "grandmaster" keys that unlock every door at the school.

They needed to get them to the hospital right away. Many probably died because of the delayed response and it taking over an hour to get medical help.

What kind of crap investigation is DPS doing?

Even if there were closed blinds, they could have busted the windows.
I think they were scared to the point of stupid.

Major lawsuits against that police dept.

Its bad enough for your kid to be killed, but I would think ten times worse to know they may have been saved if officers weren't lollygagging in the hall for an hour.
