Trump "complained that Pence was being whisked" to safety on 1/6. Clear evidence of Trump's intent

The New York Times recently reported that, while the attack on the US Capitol raged on January 6, 2021, Donald Trump complained that Vice President Mike Pence was being whisked away to safety. Beyond the obvious horrific nature of such a statement, this statement is curious as it seems to contradict the criminal scheme he, John Eastman and others had hatched to stop the certification of Joe Biden's election win by delaying the vote certification as long as possible, hoping to throw the question to the states.

same in regard to Pence and Romney. The Capital Policeman saved Romney's life. He was walking towards them.

2. The Capitol Police saved lives that day while putting their own in mortal danger

Several died and others will never be the same. Republicans barricaded the doors that day to save themselves while now claiming that these violent rioters were "normal tourist groups" and what happened was "legitimate political discourse."

They put themselves in front of their charges and kept them safe. Many of those cops were injured but that didn't stop them from doing their jobs.

Quite the contrast from the cowardly cops in Texas.
