It's why the open carry nuts think they need them in their churches, supermarkets, walking down the street. They're fashion accessoriesfor a certain type of male, usually the last ones you want to own any gun.
Then stress starts to pile up. It's nothing special, it's just all the stressors we all have to deal with, fights with family and neighbors, loss of a job, flunking something at school, getting ditched by a girlfriend. All they can think of is relieving the stress so they typically shoot a female relative, shoulder Precious, make sure they've got plenty of ammo, and start shooting random people because that'll show all those annoying little people in their lives who have been dumping on them.

It's not the styling of the gun, it's the fact that semi auto guns turn into rapid fire killing machines too easily. They make murder too easy. They make mass slaughter too easy.
I know there are people who have owned these things for a couple of decades and never misused them. However, it's a hobby that has just gotten too expensive in this country. It's time to go old school, keep and bear arms that are slower and do less damage.
