There have been protests since the day she took office, not to mention a district wide billboard campaign, but instead of taking the hint, she has repeatedly doubled down. This was the billboard on the main road nearest where I live:

4. There is a persistent myth in the military that Republicans are more "military friendly".

They're not, they pass more money on to military contractors including for weapons systems the military doesn't want/need.
So the flag and senior officers go on to lucrative careers in these companies and spread the myth on their way out the door.

They vote against propositions designed to help the people, but when the Democrats vote them in, they take credit for them in their districts. That's exactly what Stefanik is doing - and most of their constituents are none the wiser. And I'm in her district.

It drives me crazy when legislators take credit for the bills they voted against. Many of their constituents pay no attention to their voting records.

I'm sorry you are stuck with Stefanik. I have gun-humper Clyde as mine. All of his signs feature an AR-15. I will be glad when the election is over and his signs come down.

9. We managed to elect Gillibrand in 2006 with the help of the Clintons

But when Senator Clinton was appointed SoS in 2009, we elected Gillibrand's chosen successor in a Special Election. I worked on his campaigns and liked him a lot - and he was local. But then he lost in 2010 and we ended up getting redistricted in 2013. We inherited a moderate Democrat from up north - but when he retired, I made GOTV calls for his chosen successor - and that's when we got stuck with Stefanik. There have been protests since her first day in office, but instead of paying attention, she's just doubled down. That's what they do.

And I'm so sorry that you have a gun humper. I guess I should be grateful for something, but Stefanik is not only a hypocrite, she's become a national embarrassment.

They are disgusting liars when they vote against something, and then go back to their district and pat themselves on the back and say look what I did getting such and such passed. They know that many of their constituents don’t have a clue because they are busy working, etc.

She releases public statements on film that people will see and remember, while the real story about her voting record has no visual sizzle and most people will never see it or recall it.
