Talk about draining the swamp! I’m not sure the damage can be undone enough to be functional.

I want to be hopeful that America will survive and thrive but I’m not feeling very hopeful.

We had a deranged president that continues to exert toxic influence over a bunch of people I can’t even recognizeas American. They wave flags and talk of patriotism but they don’t honor and serve America, they serve the deranged guy and some bastardized version of Ameriika.


The deranged guy admired and tried to cozy up to Putin, and publicly invited the Russians to insert themselves in American matters. The American Concervative Political Action Committee (CPAC) has twice held their annual meeting in countries under authoritarian dictators, which they apparently admire and support.

Nicaragua just invited Putin to bring Russian troops, ships and planes to collaborate in “search and rescue” missions and “law enforcement”. That’s like throwing dirt in our face for fin and profit.

What the hell????

The winds of global war are almost upon us and half of Americans are deluded by the deranged guy. I’ll be ready to get off the merry go round soon. I’m glad I lived in America when it meant something special, but I don’t want to be around for a big fall, and I’m damn sure not going to live under anyone’s dictatorship.

I just can’t fathom how things got so screwed up, but screwed they are!

2. Well said and same here!

They've gone after the insurrectionists and the violent ones are in or going to jail - but what about the Republican members of Congress who we're learning enabled them?! We know that TFG was the main culprit, invited them, said he'd be with them and refused to call them off or bring in the National Guard. We've been hoping for him to face consequences for over a year - but now we're learning that even some members of Congress - who the Capitol Police had to protect on that day - are also culpable! And they're lying, too! I do not envy the House Committee this overwhelming job - but from what we've seen so far, they have done an excellent job - and we're fortunate to have every single one of them!
