Driver who crashed into New England for Trump store accused of malicious destruction of property

EASTON, Mass. — A car crashed through a New England for Trump store in Easton, Massachusetts, on Thursday, police said.

The car smashed through the front of the store on Washington Street, also known as Route 138, after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Police said Sean Flaherty, 46, of Raynham, Massachusetts, was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t deemed life-threatening.

Police said an employee was in the store at the time but was not hurt.

Flaherty was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle and malicious destruction of property, police said.
