(10,434 posts)and less like Manchin, Sinema, Gillibrand, and a number of other senators & reps who don't put enough importance on public good.

(205,839 posts)Too many - the majority of Republicans - are in elective office for what it can do for them. Katie Porter is on the side of the American people, fighting for them - and I wish that we had 100 more just like her.

(490 posts)Does anyone really need to be told at this point that Republicans are the worst? Democrats know it and Republicans think it's a virtue.
Trash like Sinema and Manchin, along with corporate sellouts like Rep. Scott Peters (D-Calif.), Kurt Schrader (former D-Ore.), Kathleen Rice (D-N.Y.), and Sen. Robert Menendez all did their part to stick a knife in drug pricing legislation.
This is what happens when simply focusing on getting a "D" into power, the "electability" calculation, takes precedence over character.
In the end, if money...legalized bribery...isn't dealt with, democracy in the U.S. hasn't got a chance.

(12,400 posts)One of the companies he worked for, had a pill. Those pills rolled of a hopper at a rate of 80,000 a day. They sold for $25.00 per pill.

(205,839 posts)My dog has a prescription for itch medicine that controls a persistent skin condition (considering that he's 16, I consider that lucky that's all he has had) - but at $2.53 per daily pill, a two month prescription is $151.80 - guess I'm lucky for that, as well...

(12,400 posts)itches, stinks, sheds, lethargic..... the voice over woman reports about how the vet recommended putting the dog down because of a vertebrae problem.
Dinovite cured her dog where the dog is still alive.
So I gets to thinking..... I'm 80 and my little soldier doesn't come to attention quite as quick as he use'ta. I was wondering if Dinovite would put some steam into the little guy.
What do you think?

Big pharma is probably really pissed about it.
