national address re the Roe & Casey decision. She suggested that Biden could do what Lincoln did when the supreme court was out of control in their Dread Scott decision --- issue an emancipation proclamation to restate that women are equal in this country. The court backed down. After all the court has never had any enforcement authority for their decisions. We the people do, however.

President can exercise dictatorial power. Yet another terrible idea from AOC. If we actually believe in the rule of law we can't advocate lawlessness.

Gives some posters a stroke. Pointing out facts or perhaps advocating for even a slightly more aggressive response to the Republican push to destroy any semblance of Democracy is clearly "idiotic", so good luck with your tempered, rational attempt at dialogue.

She didn’t express disappointment in Biden or his speech, and she only mentioned Dred Scott as an example of SCOTUS overreach in the past, and how Lincoln used the Emancipation Proclamation as a check on that overreach.
