KIII is the ABC affiliate in Corpus Christi that I watched when I was growing up. Well, that should be "sometimes watched" because it was channel 3 and the reception was poor. If we wanted to watch ABC we had to go outside and turn the antenna to face San Antonio and get KSAT which is on channel 12.

Meanwhile, I'll stay away from Padre Island and Matagorda Island so I won't see the dolls.

Think I mentioned before that when I was ages 6 1/2 to just-turned-9 we lived at the north end of Lake George on the side of a mountain - which prevented us from getting any TV channels, but one - Channel 6 from Albany which was the NBC affiliate at the time. So it was watch that or nothing, but the view down the lake was quite impressive.

And though I share John's opinion of the dolls, creepy as hell, but what's great about this capturing his attention is that the Turtle and Wildlife Rehabilitation Program is in line to receive $10,000, as opposed to the measly $35 if someone hears about this and turns one of them in! But I still want to know where they came from! Yikes!

Stay safe out there!
