11. Some great cops in Chicago. Back in 2013 they caught the two who held me at gunpoint within

20 minutes -- the fastest, smartest moves I've ever seen Chicago Police make. They also had help from University of Chicago Police who are certified as their equals.

16. Gotta say, though, lakefront suburbs south of Waukegan are pretty much like Highland Park.

I've driven up and down those areas over the last 49 years to gather that.

My guess is he was probably trying to head up to Wisconsin. I'm surprised he didn't make it -- and that the report of his arrest comes so late in the day -- since it's only an hour from Highland Park (Milwaukee's 1.5 hours from Chicago) and from one account I've read, he shot up the parade some time before 12 pm.

I live on a Mountain side Facing another with a valley between us 20 miles long all the way to Asheville. Since the shooting today, I have heard the same daily blasting of guns that echo like hell. I just heard two separate firings of 30 round mags. Unbelievable how fast the 30 can be fired. They ain’t practicing for rabbits or dear. Have no idea how they afford that ammo. I know the coves it is coming from. Poor, gubment funded meth areas, plastered with trump and confederate flags and trashed cars littering the yards. Lots of abused pit bulls. They are celebrating the killing today. Shootin in support of ole Bobby Crimo’s daily bag count.

What kind of run-ins? Did he shoot at someone, was he carrying unauthorized guns? Was this run-in dur to violence? Should he had been serving time?

Many times we find out that the killer should have been in jail, but police let him go.
