To a violent, out of control nation like oursthat an entire country could have only one firearm related death in one year. Forty thousand in the u.s.
This video tells of the stringent procedures one must go through to get a firearm in Japan.
It shows the cobbled together weapon the assassin constructed.

That no gun laws, no matter how strict, can ever work perfectly, was put in there to placate the NRA. Alas - the NRA continues to exert its stranglehold over the American media!
