(205,552 posts)He keeps threatening to "announce" that he's running again - even though he never stopped campaigning for five years! How is this allowed when he's under investigation in numerous states and at the federal level for trying to overthrow the government he now wants to lead???

(205,552 posts)And from what we're head in recent testimony, he was told from the beginning that he lost badly and it was over, yet he wasted time and money all over the country challenging the results in numerous states, threatened state officials who refused to do his bidding and is still on the loose, holding rallies to convince the deluded.
And he's also a petty little man, dismissed the White House staff so that the duly elected president of the United States was unable to enter the White House. I often think of previous transitions, where all outgoing presidents attended the swearing in of their successors. And I still remember the welcome that the Bush girls gave to the Obama girls:

(205,552 posts)That was a very kind thing to do. But I remember that back in the day I was given a hard time here for saying something nice about Laura.

(153,169 posts)but I remember one incident when a reporter asked her to comment on something Michelle Obama had said that came out awkwardly, insinuating Michelle was anti-America and Laura shot him down saying, no, the Obamas love their country, she refused to play that game
