(24,651 posts)That was the point. 5 "acting" Departments head replacements after Trump lost?....obvious what their purpose was.

(1,328 posts)Those missing secret service texts arent the key to anything, theyre just another tranche of evidence leading to the obvious conclusion that TFG was a willing participant if not the ring leader of a coup
Dont fall for the trap of, if only we had the SS texts we could have proven culpability
There is already plenty of evidence. There is always going to be more evidence, but culpability doesnt rest on that. The necessary proof is sitting in our laps.
Finally, I dont buy the idea that DOJ cant charge until they have a case that is so solid, so gold plated, that they cant possibly loose. Any case can be lost. Charging, putting the case in front of a jury and on the open record is what this moment demands. See the historical footnote to TFGs presidency: impeached twice. All the evidence presented in those cases is there for the world to see. And the stigma will last forever.

(206,175 posts)And, from what we've heard, they're not done yet. At least we know now that the DOJ is moving forward, it's important that we know that, but you're right - the impeachment hearings put it all out there and the J6 Committee has produced the witnesses.
