How to disqualify insurrectionists from Congress: interview w/John Bonifaz of Free Speech 4 People

We have insurrectionists running for reelection to Congress. We have the insurrectionist-in-chief, Donald Trump, flirting with another presidential run.

The good news is, the 14th Amendment prohibits insurrectionists from getting re-elected to public office. But how is section 3 of the 14th Amendment enforced?

One way its being enforced is by the truly heroic efforts of John Bonifaz and his organization Free Speech For People. They're filing lawsuits against insurrections in Congress - from Marjorie Taylor Greene to Paul Gosar, and others - and seeking to have judges disqualify them from the ballot for there conduct in connection with the January 6 insurrection.

1. The problem is there are plenty of Red State AGs who will

happily come up with a cockamamie excuse to do the same to Democrats in office. “He voted to impeach Donald Trump and was part of the conspiracy to deny him a second term.” Unless there is a plan to engage with that we’re better off waiting for criminal convictions.

And the J6 Committee has more to come as well. *sigh*

So it looks like the J6 investigation is far from over - and the DOJ is just getting started!
