Manhattan Prosecutor Who Resigned Was Confident Trump Was Guilty And Would Be Convicted - Ring of Fire

Mark Pomerantz, one of the prosecutors that resigned from the Manhattan DA's investigation of Trump earlier this year, has been doing quite a few interviews recently, where he has expressed his belief that Donald Trump was not just guilty, but also that a jury would have easily convicted him. This is coming from a person who had seen all of the evidence and was working on the case until it was basically put on ice thanks to new Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Pressure from somewhere?

They have the evidence I guess.

I will be honest, I believe he was pressured not to by people not in NY.

There is some agreement in place somewhere.

Vance was just as complicit in it. He was just cagier about how he did it. He slow-walked it and kicked the can till near his retirement. Then he hired the big guns THEN so he knew he'd be out of office when they were finished with their investigation, so someone else would have to cross whatever powers have been protecting tfg in NY for decades.

No wonder everything just fizzles when it comes to going after Trump.

No one understands fully what they are up against.
