I mean, it only follows that the same respect for law and order that made them outraged at Hillary Clinton for her private email server would lead them to condemn Trump for illegally carting classified documents to his private residence.

Democrats must obey every minor rule and law. Republicans should be free to do whatever they want because they are not really breaking the law, they’re doing what’s best for the country, and more garbage like that. There was at least some respect for the law before Trump. Now there is none, even by most elected Republicans. Trump gave them the green light to be just as corrupt as he is, and they have rushed to copy him. The level of corruption now in Republican legislatures and state officials is astonishing with so many working to nullify future votes and even now to overturn the 2020 election.

10. I had stayed up to watch that

and the guest (who monitors their social media channels) looked truly shaken. Unfortunately his "beat" has him firmly entrenched in the abyss of their netherworld and I expect, especially for a young man like him, that it can be difficult to distinguish/tease out the actual actionable "threats" (which are what the federal investigative agencies monitor and track) from the volume of hyperbole and keyboard warrioring that this crowd is fond of.
