During an interview this past weekend, Marjorie Taylor Greene went on a rant about the failures of the Republican Party, and then she officially declared that the "old Republican Party" is OVER, and all that remains is the "America First" Party of Donald Trump. The sad part about her statement is that she isn't wrong, and that much has been obvious to everyone outside the Party for quite some time now. And if they split in two, the America First Party aka GOPQ would definitely have more members.
The ones "in control" aka the old guard let things get way out of hand, giving Donald and his ilk free reign and losing control of their party. The federalists and others who fund and set agendas may not want him to hurt the the party or the country any further (allowing legal actions), but the damage is done.

The GOP is dead. The GOPQ is in charge now.
