Facebook's parent company Meta has decided that they are going to loosen their own rules about political and electoral misinformation, allowing more lies to flood their platform right before the midterms. This is a calculated move by the social media outlet, and it could be a ploy to convince Republicans to go easy on them if they retake the House of Representatives.
