Facebook Turned Over Teen's Personal Info So She Could Be Prosecuted For Abortion - Ring of Fire

Facebook turned over the data of a teenage girl to investigators so that they could prosecute her, and her mother, for getting an abortion. Facebook says that they were only complying with information that had been subpoenaed, but the dangers that this poses to the health and safety of American citizens are beyond mind-blowing. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

People think it's okay to put themselves out on the internets - saying they only do it to "keep up with friends and family!"

I've read that in EU (or possibly UK), a person's info belongs to them. Not every corporation that can grab it.

Maybe if we can get a really solid majority in the house & senate ...

On edit: Should havd said keep a sid majority in house & gain one in senate.

For a state to prosecute someone for something they do legally in another state? Nobody gets prosecuted for going out of state and legally smoking pot? Do states literally own their citizens now?
