I so wish Al Gore had been President. I think he would have been excellent. When I saw the SCOTUS give that election to Dubya, I knew this country was going straight to hell. Maybe we can eventually recover from all this madness, but it's going to take a lot of effort and we're going to see some awful sights. This year's election is of the utmost importance.

When I saw the SCOTUS give that election, I knew that the US was done for. It's only gotten worse as the years have gone by.

I appreciate that Gore agrees with Bernie on this. There is a hell of a lot needed to do, and personally, I am not sure that there is the time to do it. We are already losing the Arctic sea ice, which is critical. Deep down, I know it's too late, but try to encourage folks to do more for the environment, any way.

It's a sad state of affairs, but I still hold out some hope. I hate to be one of the people who sees it all go down the tubes, but I don't have much control over that.

He, like Ms Clinton, would have made a great President.

When I watch this intelligent, caring man speak, it makes me overwhelmingly sad to think of how different (and so much better) so many things could have been if the rightful winner of the election would have been able to serve instead of having the election stolen from him by the Republicans with the help of a corrupt partisan Supreme Court.

“Like Revelations…” comment he made re: Undeniable climate change.

Side note: I saw him at Sundance Film Festival when he released An Inconvenient Truth.
He was much more handsome in real life. A very striking figure.
