He’s not just a talking head. There are laws n they have consequences far more serious for those who think they know it all or have lawyers to stand w/ them n get educated along the way. I’ve said this before but here goes..my mother used those old southern ditties on us n at the times I wondered.,wth..but..the bigger they are..the harder they fall. And she was always right so..I’m expecting the fall while I’m still young at 75.

He has the experience, he's actually worked in government, and he does attract terrific knowledgeable guests, like Laurence Tribe, but I'm fine with just listening to him explain what's going on as he often does with his opening segment.

And your mother sounds pretty smart, too - and I think you're about to get your wish, the walls are rapidly closing in on TFG and those who broke the law for him.

Then he n his guests fill in the blanks or confirm or expound on them. It’s like being in a classroom w/ the professor teaching us the foundation n building up to the issue at hand. Couldn’t have found a better place to learn than here..debating n proving our points w/ facts n foot notes from people of like minds from all directions n life experiences. Thanks, Rhiannon

And I generally have MSNBC on in the evenings when I'm here on DU - and I make it a point to post the most important segments on offer for those who didn't or couldn't watch, definitely Lawrence O'Donnell!

And I couldn't agree more about DU. I've always voted, but 9/11 woke me up and I found DU after that - and it's been quite an education.

I was in the middle of nowhere but hooked up w/ half dozen democrats n put signs up.. 5 minutes later while making my rounds, they had disappeared! I was there stuck in 1950 trying to help my sister n bil n until I got so homesick I came back home to Florida. they're Thumpers n it was very difficult. Late at night, like now, I looked up progressive site n found the DU. Never looked back. I lurked around for a few months trying to find like minded folks n then I signed up. What a home I found 🤗. Search n you’ll find kinda thing ..best thing I ever did. I especially appreciate that rule that if you state a “fact”, ya gotta prove it..even then I look things up just to understand better. I’ve always voted but I’m a much more informed voter, for sure ✅

I always voted, usually for Democrats, but didn't keep up with the issues. The closest thing I had to a grandfather, my grandmother's significant other and one of my favorite people, used to watch the political shows ("Washington Week," etc.) and I'd just nod off. Bill Clinton was his candidate and I wish so much that I could tell him that I saw the former president speak in person when he came to my rural district in 2006 to campaign for our Democratic Congressional candidate - he is one brilliant speaker!

And earlier today I was at a meeting and afterwards the talk was about keeping Daylight Savings Time, and I was able to explain to the others when it's supposed to start and why! (Sheldon Whitehouse and Marco Rubio co-sponsored the bill in the Senate and it remarkably passed unanimously, but now it has to be approved in the House.) I'm sure I shared more information than they needed...

What's aggravating are those reports we hear of those attacking the FBI or making excuses. I long for the day that they all have to eat their words...

reason to request the affidavit to find out who the informants are, just the request alone reveals info to Trump and his accomplices. The DOJ response to the request lets the criminals know how widespread and deep the investigations are. It confirms for them that DOJ is doing much more than recovering documents.
