Is why Putin is pushing this propaganda out right now. His losses are unsustainable. He is trying to split Europe and US alliance. This rhetoric will get worse as winter approaches and parts of Europe look for more gas.

Putin caused the unprovoked attack on a sovereign country, said country is fighting back with weaponry help from other other countries. Putin is killing civilians, stealing them, decimating the country's land, raping and torturing them.

I believe he will want to call a truce, take the territory he now has and regroup/re arm and try again at a later date.
If things don't go his way he might blow the Nuclear Power Plant to punish Europe and blame it on HIMARS. Just my armchair general point of view.
