Related: About this forumMitch McConnell PANICS, admits GOP candidates are a DISASTER - Meidas Touch
Mitch McConnell sees the writing on the wall. As Republican campaigns across the country falter, McConnell admitted during an interview that the partys chances of winning the Senate are slim. McConnell noted the lack of candidate quality from his partys nominees, a factor he said does not factor into House races. This comes as McConnells super PAC puts $28 million into Ohio in a last-ditch attempt to save Republican JD Vances failing campaign. Isaiah Martin breaks down the current state of the midterm elections.

Absolutely. He knows Vance is a terrible candidate, yet he throws him a massive financial lifeline.

Agreed, it's not about "policy," it's all about power for the Republicans now.

about "quaint" notions like honesty, intelligence or morality.
To Republicans, a "quality" candidate is simply one who will win---period. What they believe---or whether they believe anything---is just not important or relevant.
Oz is NOT a quality candidate, not because he's a "Trump won" toady but because he's headed for a loss
Hageman IS a quality candidate even though she's a "Trump won" toady because she will win in November.

The "power" to vote down any bills supported by Democrats.
