Wreck of US warship sunk in WW1 found off English coast - BBC News

Divers have filmed extraordinary pictures of the wreck of a US warship, discovered on the seabed more 105 years after it was sunk in the First World War.

The USS Jacob Jones was torpedoed by a German submarine in December 1917. 66 servicemen on board lost their lives.

The wreck of the destroyer was discovered off the coast of Cornwall at a depth of 115 meters, with much of the vessel still intact.

Reeta Chakrabarti presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Jenny Kumah.
