(37,119 posts)If I had done what I had posited I would have been locked up awaiting Court Martial. And then found guilty and sent to a federal penitentiary. Conservatives dont give a damn about right or wrong. They are significantly mentally impaired. Whether trump is stupid or is acting stupid is irrelevant.

(206,157 posts)I often cringe to imagine what he's think of what's happening in this country right now, let alone the closest thing I had to a grandfather who was very political, Bill Clinton was his guy. If either of them showed up right now, I'd be at a loss to explain it to them - and I don't think they'd believe me if I could...

And a rousing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to President Bill Clinton. 76 today (19 August). Wouldnt he have made an awesome 1st gentleman?

(206,157 posts)And I was actually looking forward to Bill Clinton as our first First Gentleman - I figured that the country would also benefit from the experience of two Clintons at once! Not to mention, President Clinton is the one POTUS I've actually seen in person - he came to my little burg in 2006 to campaign for the Democratic Congressional candidate and he is one impressive speaker! There was SRO to see and hear him!

(37,119 posts)I was the cameraman on a tv interview with Governor Bill Clinton for a Fayetteville TV station in 1978 in the Governors Office in Little Rock. An English teacher would give me a C- for that sentence.
