Crimean Tatars hope for a Crimea independent from Russia - Al Jazeera

Al Jazeera speaks to members of the Crimean Tatar community who fled to Ukraine eight years ago when the peninsula was annexed by Russia.

A series of recent attacks in Russian-held Crimea has highlighted Ukraine's determination to retake the peninsula annexed in 2014.

Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports.

about the immense explosions witnessed when Ukraine missiles drop Russia’s Crimean Bridge into the the drink cutting mainland Russia off from entering Crimea. The sooner the better.
