Lawrence O'Donnell: DOJ Tells Trump-Picked Judge She's Risking National Security - The Last Word MSNBC

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell analyzes a new filing from Justice Department lawyers telling Judge Aileen Cannon that her order for the appointment of a special master to review the government documents seized from Donald Trump’s Florida home is creating a national security risk and could do “irreparable harm” to their investigation. - Aired on 09/08/2022.

So that's what Aileen Cannon is supposed to dread?

Justice matters.

that the IC's assessment of the possibly irreparable damages to the national security of the United States of America cannot be done in full if the FBI investigation is impeded to proceed? IOW, they can't do the job separately! One doesn't do it without the tools the other has!

Heck, it's also their own lives and those of their families at risk here (they don't care about others than them I know) every minute this sordid crime remains unpunished!

Now come on...

These people hate our country. I'll bet that judge just loves "Q" websites. The whole situation is cray-cray.

It's enormously shocking that a former president would have so many pending charges against him - but it's even more shocking that someone as corrupt and lawless would ascend to the presidency at all! Not to mention that he's still on the loose, able to attack the DOJ and the current government - and to incite violence from extremist groups and his deluded "supporters!" Here we thought we were out of the woods when he was soundly defeated in 2020, but he's yet another plague on this country that won't go away!

I wouldn't hold my breath. I absolutely expect her to do the wrong thing, side against legal precedent, and side against our national security interests. These people live in their own "alternative reality," remember? In their view risking millions or billions of human lives on their careless reckless decisions DOES NOT matter, so long as they get their way. And why would she do otherwise? She fears not being impeached. That will never happen, so there's no repercussions of her actions, for her anyway.

In parts of Latin America, the going joke about judges is that sin propina, no camina.

'They won't walk (with you) without a tip'.

Aileen's definitely from that school of Latin jurisprudence - if not the Inquisition.
