More likely that he's going to get re-elected, and run for President in 2 years.

I would think they would be outraged even if they don't give a damn about the migrants.

Ron DeSantis seems ruthless and mean, but also rather stupid.

His approval ratings in FL will probably increase

You're thinking like a caring Democrat. If you want to know what the majority of voters in Red State FL will feel, you need to think like a repub.

The law is the law.

If the GQP is successful in the midterms you can be CERTAIN that they will be charging Democrats with everything and anything they can make up. Get them with the truth before they start witch hunts based on their lies.

No power to charge anyone unless Merrick Garland and the DOJ agree. I suppose an individual state could press charges however.

How exactly does congress indict someone criminally? If they could, why hasn't the current house charged Trump with crimes?

19. That's true. Hillary wasn't criminally charged in 2016 after years of investigation .

You seem to be hung on my use of the word charge vs. criminal charge. People can make a charge against anyone but it does not always turn into a criminal.charge. That's why I referred to it as a witch hunt.

Sounds like this is a case of semantics.

I won’t hold my breath.

I think it’s pretty clear by now that a certain group of people are above the law. Convince me otherwise.
