Texas Bigots Have Banned Over 800 Books In The Past Year - Ring of Fire
According to a new report, the state of Texas is leading the country in banning books, with the total coming out to over 800 books banned by Lone Star State bigots in the past 12 months. The Republicans in charge of the state claim that these books are "pornographic," but that only proves that Republicans are over-sexualizing members of the LGBTQ community. ones! I remember specifically that the Valley of the Dolls, circulated underground at that time at my school, and we would gather around and read the juicy parts. 
You have to wonder if the people who are banning the books have ever read one.
