Putin has bitten off way more than he can chew and the Russian people are now paying the price. When I was in the USSR, peace groups who remembered the horrors they experienced during WWII were still active. Putin may have prohibited news of this war on state run TV, but this is a wake up call for the people and there's no shutting them down now.

I don't think that's the reality, but it's the way events are packaged to us.

When I was there. And it can't have gotten any better under Putin. But the thing is, Putin is refusing to acknowledge the consequences of his failed and unprovoked war, state-run TV can no longer hide it and the people of Russia are paying the price - and reacting.

Ukraine and the world, including those Russians who are reasonable, must pay for the cold blooded egoism of one mad man and his flunkies in the Kremlin.
