These crime families are using the law to rob and destroy other people knowing that the victims won't be able to access resources to defend themselves. It is rapacious and cruel.

(1,654 posts)Back in 2017 I remember one of the women featured in an article. She had lived in one of the crummy buildings before it was bought by Kushner (it was crummy even before he bought the complex). She had finally saved up enough money to buy her own condo. The original owner of the complex had let her out of her lease so she could move but she didn't seem to have any paperwork proving it. She was in her new home when Kushner bought up the complex and went after all the previous tenants for any back payments including "broken" leases, emptied people's bank accounts, garnished wages. She lost EVERYTHING. They were ruthless, would not listen to any pleas, used the courts to take every dollar he could. He gives slumlords a bad name.

As a convicted felon he was also disbarred in three states. He later received a federal pardon issued by President Donald Trump on December 23, 2020.
