a direct order from the president sounds to me like a way to connect Trump directly to the planning, gathering, and violence committed by Oath Keepers, The Proud Boys, and others who joined them in the attack. I doubt a jury will buy Rhodes' contention that Trump's "ordering" them to prevent the electoral count frees him from guilt. But it could be a way to get Trump for conspiracy and encouraging violence against Congress.
