Donald Trump may have failed in his election coup in 2020 but Republicans are building the infrastructure to potentially challenge the midterm results through suppression laws, voter intimidation, and activist groups tossing out ballots and registrations in battleground states. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold spoke with MSNBCs Ayman Mohyeldin on the dangers the GOPs tactics are posing for the midterms and beyond.

(21,378 posts)The fascist Supreme Court is getting ready to take a case out of Alabama. Alabama is 25% black but state legislators drew a map that's 6 districts white majority and 1 district black majority.
The thing about this case is it will give the state legislators, in all the states, the final say on anything related to elections. The state SC cannot overrule anything nor any other court or the governor. The fake elector scheme the Magats tried to pull in the 2020 election will now be legal in 2024 if the Alabama Magats win their SC case.

In Pa. Democrats always vote in higher numbers than Republicans but we lose state seats because of the 2010 gerrymander. I don't see any way in the near future that Democrats can regain control of the Pa. state legislature. My state Rep. Glenn Thompson, breathes methane and drinks oil, he is useless, I will vote against him over and over again hoping that something changes one year.
