Burned out military vehicles and shredded uniforms mark Russia's retreat of Lyman - Guardian News

Bodies of Russian soldiers, shredded uniforms and burned out military vehicles litter parts of Lyman in Ukraine after it was liberated from Russian occupation. The city in Donetsk became the latest strategically important city Russian occupiers surrendered as the Kremlin faces heavy losses. The gains by Ukraine come after Russia illegally claimed four territories as its own last week.

Putin appears to admit severe Russian losses in Ukraine. Attempts to play down retreats in Ukraine no longer wash inside Russia.

Our military and its funding is completely out of control. Waste, graft, incompetent generals.

Trump's corruption was starting to have the same effect on the United States that Putin's corruption has had on Russia. In Putin's Russia lies and who you know is what matters to get ahead. Not how competent and honest a public official is.

His Generals spent years looting the military arsenal and lying about readiness on paper. Now you see the end results.

Trump was and is encouraging that same type of corruption within all of the USA government agencies. Look at how the justice department is in a sort of chaos due to Trump's attempts to stack incompetent judges into high positions. Look at the FBI how it as an organization started to lose its ideals and its direction. All due to Donald Trump's manipulation of its leadership.

The US military would be the next target on Trump's list. Placing people like Mike Flynn at secretary of defense. Can you imagine the destruction and confusion that would create?

Yes Trump would have led the USA down the same path as Putin has led Russia.

For once, one of our investments in training and military has paid off.

Your point is well taken though. We’ve been conned concerning any real threat from Russia.
