Russian President Vladimir Putin's order to conscript men to fight in his war in Ukraine has created an exodus of draft dodgers. CNN's Ivan Watson speaks to some of the thousands who left their homeland behind in defiance of Putin.

Start a stupid war a bunch of ivory tower theorists and dreamers want, find out the target country is objecting to it, double down on it.

I wonder how long it will take him to realize the generals and the imperial dreamers are lying to him. It took LBJ long enough and Nixon never did figure it out, the war was too good a tool for repression.

Corporate execs sending their workers out of the country is a new one. They weren't that kind here.

Word is definitely getting out in Russia about what a total catastrophe this war has been for both countries.
