...Must they make so much fun of the occasional verbal gaffe from President Joe Biden? A minor slip-of-the-tongue gets broadcast around the world, and leaves a bad impression.

Case in point: a friend from Europe is visiting here, and he told me how the perception in that part of the world is that Biden is senile. As opposed to the former guy?!?

If this is what an average citizen see and believes, does that apply to government leaders as well?

I have begun to hit the rack earlier and earlier. By the time I hit 70 I will be going to bed by 7. As a consequence I don't stay up late enough now to watch Colbert or SNL. So thank you Rhiannon

Colbert brings us the news in a way we can tolerate - with humor - and makes us feel less alone. As for SNL, good news or bad, it's a tradition.

They really have to reach to find something... He has no "quirks," no cringeworthy gaffes, the only meme Colbert can find is the aviator glasses...
