This Is What Trump's GOP Supports In '22; I've Never Seen Anything Like It - Morning Joe - MSNBC

1. It cracks me up that Scarborough thinks people in his party

Have any morality whatsoever. It’s a waste of time to try and shame them. They’re just proud of it. I know he says he’s not a republican anymore but he’s just dying to run back into the fold, I can tell

2. I'm shocked Scott and Cotton are considered GQP "heavy hitters."

Not a whole lot of depth in that party these days.

6. Rick Scott?! They're bringing the wrong "Scott" to Georgia

It seems like Sen. Tim Scott would be more effective, although he might not be willing to stake his political reputation on the likes of Walker right about now.

3. He likely would if the fold ever retreated back to center-right

However, that does not appear remotely possible.

5. Does anybody have any idea where the Republican Party is headed at this time?

Unless it’s forming an alliance with Russia

MAGA clearly benefits Putin. Putin detests democratically-elected leaders such as Biden, and democracy in general. And MAGA-Q world is full of itself and would sell their own grandmothers into slavery in order to seize power. No one figured that Kevin McCarthy and the GOP at-large would cave to TFG literally days after the events of January 6th, but that's exactly what happened. Nothing surprises me any more.

8. Same here, as a child of the cold war and an adolescent in the Cuban missile crisis. I'm baffled

Baffled and infuriated. I remember Vietnam and that love it or leave it kind of crap, and for years now we’ve heard brainwashed Republicans repeat, “this is not a democracy it’s a republic”, as if that means anything. But they think it does. Also we are the Democratic Party and they hate us so they hate anything democratic. But to me it’s been clear from the beginning that Putin hates the United States and would do anything to destroy us, just like the communist party and Khrushchev. Actually Khrushchev was a little more sensible

The very fact that Walker is considered a serious candidate for the US Senate has people all around the world worried about the future of America.
Even if he is severely trounced in the mid terms, people will still be wondering about the mental stability of the American experiment.
