Related: About this forum65% of the United States government tax revenue comes from individual humans.
I wonder what would happen if the United States Government lost 65% of its tax revenue overnight‽
Why do the republicans treat us as if our investment in this country is unimportant?
And why are corporations that are actually destroying our country like Dupont plastics, And Nestlé. Why are they given so much more power with their money contributions. Then we are allowed with our individual contributions that make up 65% of the United States government revenue?
This country doesn't exist without (We The People) propping it up financially.
Maybe we should stop behaving as if we need them, more than they need us.
And also never be ashamed to go to the government and say "Hey I need money for food, I need money for education, I need my money back"
No matter how much the republicans want to act like the money doesn't belong to us. 65% of the United States revenue belongs to "We The People"
And they still continue to rob us.
Example in my area if you want to build a house on your own property you have to pay the government anywhere between $20000 to $40000 for what they call a "impact fee on the environment" depending on the county your property is in. And regular everyday citizens keep telling us we're lucky that our impact fee is only $20000. huh🤷🏾♀️
However, when you go to that Local government and you say "Hey I have a plan that could save my family $50000. And I could build a sustainable system using incinorating toilets, and a 5k gallon rain collection system"
They will say to me, no you have to spend $40000 on a septic system you don't need. And $30000 on a Well you don't need, As if groundwater, is cleaner than rainwater🤦🏾♀️
Even though I could build a sustainable system that's safe for the environment that will only cost me about $20000 if that.
So why is my family forced to spend $70000 on an antiquated system?
Because of TaxationSlavery. My intention is to fight this as best I can.
And by the way that $70000 still doesn't include the $20000 impact fee or all the permits I have to pay for land that I purchased with my own money, to have a house built by a government certified professional builder. Why do we let them do this to us?🤷🏾♀️
