The January 6th committee (Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, Heidi Gardner, Andrew Dismukes, Michael Longfellow) gives their closing statements for the investigation of the attack on the Capitol.

2. I thought it was great, was pleased they had a political Opening - and I'm sure it'll be back

3. Added the video yet again for the third time!

Think they did a good job, especially Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney - and Nancy Pelosi!

5. The opening made several people on DU upset.

Not me!

It was typical mockery (using exaggeration of behavior) by SNL, and it applied to everyone. It's not like Trump was portrayed as competent or non-delusional.

4. It was clear that those who wrote that skit didn't watch the hearing

parody should start with the truth and then exaggerate but other than Thompson none of those people were portrayed with any truth at all. Raskin in particular, was just awful. Pelosi, Schumer, and Kinzinger were also pretty lame.

6. I laughed at the Big Dick Cheney Energy quip by Liz Cheney.

The rest of the skit was okay.

And folks can say what they want, since I posted the actual videos, I appreciated Nancy Pelosi!
