Lehto's Law: Corrective Punishment Legal In America? Not just punish perp but their family.

.

It can happen in some cities in America. The Institute for Justice is fighting it.

Granite City: Crime Free Neighborhood. Evict anyone related to someone who commits a crime, whether they live there or not. Mother, Significant Other and two grandchildren evicted because they were related to someone who helped steal a U-Haul truck. The woman who stole the truck did not live at that residence.

A friend of mine's roommate committed suicide in their apartment. They weren't related. Just friends. He got evicted within 3 months for no apparent reason.

I let him stay here until he could find a place. Poor guy, his grief was compounded by the sudden eviction.

People are heartless and cruel.
