That's an excellent question. Did TFG's Treasury Secretary sign off on it? Rhiannon12866 Oct 2022 #2

SS claimed they were over a barrel because he wouldn't stay anywhere else. The room rates were bad enough but why did they also have to pay for the "rental of the golf carts for the SS?" They would have bought their own and told him tough luck when they wanted them to pay all that money for rental of carts belonging to Trump org. They could have bought a thousand carts in the past 6 years (7 if you include the 2016 campaign). SS was way over budget and all those "fiscal conservative" Republicans never let out a peep. We may never have a full accounting of the money the Traitor cost us.

We should just start refusing to pay the lodging bills for any of his SS.

Just think, if the R's take the house, all this attempt at accounting goes away for at least 2 more years, maybe more.

Because they wouldn't let Secret Service who were assigned to them use their rest rooms...

This would never happen during the current administration, but TFG ran looking for "campaign donations" after his previous business efforts failed - and discovered even more lucrative opportunities to profit off his position. And there might easily be a future equally dishonest candidate who could seek to follow his example. That's why he must face the harshest penalties - so this can never happen again.
