Bracing for a harsh winter: Russia attacks pummel Ukrainian energy network - CNA

Ukraine believes Russia is using winter as a weapon and deliberately striking its energy infrastructure. The country is now scrambling to repair and replace gas and electricity supplies for the winter heating season.

as people burn wood, coal and kerosene in enclosed spaces. It will be a harsh winter for Ukraine.
