This, too. What real-life situation deep-ended you, Lara? What a spiral into a shared hope you get the help and support that you need.

One that's as un-funny as could possibly be, and would require a great deal of help and support. It's clear that you're unaware of it, as no DU'er would mock someone for being a survivor of a violent sexual assault.

Extremely violent and she could have died in her own words. That had to have lasting trauma for anyone. She filed suit against the then CBS-owned New York Magazine for an article that downplayed what she said actually happened as mere "groping." I think her bitterness towards MSM started there.

Still, she has taken such a dramatic turn from who she once was that it is hard to fathom. And the extreme direction her "beliefs" have taken (or at least the viewpoints she espouses) are so disturbing, I can't attribute it to a single traumatic episode nor to her marriage to a former military intelligence officer who spent the BUSH* years producing pro-military propaganda to influence the median--thus likely highly conservative in his own views. But this "beyond Q-anon" Jewish ancient conspiracy theory stuff? It is beyond disturbing.

This article is somewhat revealing: https://www.businessinsider.com/how-lara-logan-went-from-war-correspondent-to-fox-nation-2021-12

And I don't use that status to freebase hate like she does. I wouldn't be given a pass for it if I tried it. I also don't buy into every loon conspiracy theory or think that every white man is out to get me, just because white men raped me.

One has no bearing on the other. She's a scumbag because she's a scumbag. The rape has zilch to do with that. It's a traumatic thing to happen to a person, yes, but it won't change who you are, down deep. Instead, it's much like what Michelle Obama said about being POTUS: It doesn't change who you are--it reveals who you are.

If you're a jerk, you come out of it a jerk. If you're a decent human being, you remain a decent human being. This loon was a jerk before the rape, and she's an even worse one now, the kind who uses what happened to her to be a colossal jerk to other people.

So she's not exempt from criticism for her jerk behavior, just because she was raped.

I'm sure we'd all agree that, while her rape experience cannot excuse her present behavior, the rape itself is not something to mock her for or taunt her about. That's what I was saying in my post.

cared about the Southern border? Was that purposeful to draw out her craziness or was he agreeing with her conspiracy-tinged rant?

What happened to her? It's almost like she was drugged by some cult to spew about Satan and the evil, brown people flooding the country to dilute the white patriot population.

Totally nuts. Deprogramming is in order.

Wasn't she a conservative? Might explain how she got to this place. It is very sad to see someone who once had a legitimate career go so far down the deep end.
