And now she is talking smack about Trump's faults? And this is after doing the heavy lifting for Vlad Putin, Cozy Bear,
Facebook/Cambridge Analyitica, & Trump in spreading the Russian produced lie about HRC and her emails?
She should either have the good grace to either just go away or step in front of a bus.

(7,285 posts)She did give herself a pass a number of times for not shining the light on his corruption (my words) in the years prior to 2015..
some examples of fairness one should also say.
However, the most important part of this interview is what she says about his prospects in 2024, it's a rather significant point.
Trump could easily win in 2024, and not one of us should doubt that for a moment.
Many of us here see that as a significant possibility, as long as he is able to breathe in the same air as we do, the more significant the threat.
She also mentioned that no ethics laws have been legislated in this term. I'm not sure ethics legislation will suffice.
But still, shoulda/coulda.woulda's. Is there time? Not likely.

(7,285 posts)So long as none of these things have occurred, he is perfectly free to run for election and be installed regardless if he actually won electorally or not.
editing to add : To date, he hasn't stood in front of any judge and jury accused for any violation of the US Federal Crimes of Treason or Insurrection etc etc etc. It hasn't happened, until that happens and is then found guilty and sentenced accordingly, he is free to run for any office in the land including the office of the United States Presidency.

(9,387 posts)Those criticizing her reporting (and what they claim is her withholding stuff for the book) just don't get what journalism is. Journalism is a timely process. It's never ending. I've read some of the other Trump books and this one digs into him good. It's not a kiss-and-tell book and it shouldn't be. She's a journalist and that's what her book is. I recommend it. She tells the full story of Trump like no other book I've seen.
