Scientists Investigate New Methane Source on Greenland Ice Sheet

After a 4 year hiatus, I was back in Greenland this past summer with Dark Snow Project
buddy Marek Stibal, of Charles University in Prague, and his team.
They are investigating troubling reports of large methane releases from melting ice.
Seems like something we should know more about....

BBC World News America interviewed John Kerry last night (or at least played an interview of him) about COP27. I do wish folks would stop saying we can do this - stop climate change at 1.5C, because we can't. We couldn't before Putin began his crazed invasion of a sovereign nation and we can't now. Svalbard is going to continue their coal mining because now it will be profitable. And Svalbard is seeing the climate change right before their eyes.
