1. So who did kill Malcolm X?

One theory (and this is all it is so far,) says Louis Farrakhan was behind it.

I seriously doubt this, much as I can't stand Louie the Lip.

I know that after his Haj opened his eyes to the folly of US racial stereotyping he and Elijah Muhammad clashed frequently over the direction US Islam should be taking. I never bought the fiction that Muhammad had him killed, it just doesn't fit.

Good for Netflix for looking at this one. I've always thought it was a government hit, a couple of street thugs hired to do the job, paid handsomely, and shifted to another part of the country where they wouldn't be recognized.

Political assassinations slowed considerably after Hoover had the good sense to kick the bucket. Hoover was pure, fulminating evil, a man who believed he was right about everything and never listened to anyone else and thought every illegal thing he did was fully justified. IOW, he'd been there too long, believed his own bullshit, and despised anyone on the left or who had a different skin color.
