... that I was headed for the restroom to use my litter box, and I was glad our company accommodated me and my cat-identity.

Both of them knew what I was talking about immediately. I then told them that the stories about litter boxes in schools are complete nonsense, of course. To which they replied, "It's probably true, though, since it sounds like something that would happen nowadays!"

I again said it's not true, and they should fact-check such things. And I walked away knowing that they're indeed Trumpers, as I strongly suspected because they had previously demonstrated the traits of right-wing authoritarians.

EDIT: A previous incident was how they strongly defended a cop who outright murdered someone in Colorado, which I had attempted to explain to them during a work break. They knew nothing about it, but vigorously defended the cop nonetheless! One of them quickly said, "You're barking up the wrong tree with me! My father was a cop!" I replied, "And I'm sure he was a good cop! I'm talking about ONE specific police officer who behaved horribly!" Yet they maintained their group-thinking tribalistic behavior about it and, ever since, both of them have given me the stink-eye whenever I walk past them. So they probably realize that I'm a no-good liberal.

Don't they know any other people, like those with kids in school - or teachers? I was 4 when I started school and I wasn't the youngest. And I can remember teachers taking kids to the bathroom, some still needed help with that, they were hardly capable of dealing with a litterbox. No wonder these gullible people fall prey to TFG's lies - it's obvious they'll believe anything.

They picked a side, and stick with that group no matter what.

I wrote an edit in my previous post which provides another example about those two women.

Right-wing authoritarians (who overwhelmingly support Trump):

(snip)
According to Altemeyer, the above-mentioned reasoning flaws prevalent among authoritarians are all connected to their instinct to not think for themselves but to absorb their beliefs from their group, with particular deference to what the leader tells them to believe. If they are to absorb whatever they're taught, they must not think critically about the logic of what they're taught. A person who can think critically can achieve sustainable beliefs as they come closer to the truth, but an unthinking authoritarian can only achieve sustainable beliefs if they stubbornly stick to what they were taught no matter what outsiders tell them.
